Jackie Shroff Spotted On Sets Of Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’ In Jaisalmer, Video Goes Viral

Jackie Shroff, who had last worked with Rajinikanth in ‘Uttar Dakshin’, is all set to reunite with the actor after almost three decades. The two actors will be sharing screen space with him in the upcoming Tamil film, ‘Jailer’. The shoot of the film is currently underway in Jaisalmer, and a video of Jackie from the film’s sets has now gone viral on social media. 

In the video, Jackie is seen greeting his fans and shaking hands with them as he walks shirtless with just a brown shawl around his shoulders. It is the exact look that was shared in the poster by the makers on Sunday to announce that Jackie is part of the project. Later in the video, he is spotted near his car and greeting fans with folded hands.

The makers of ‘Jailer’, on Sunday, officially revealed that Jackie Shroff is part of the project, and released a poster featuring him. It is rumoured that Jackie plays one of the antagonists in the film, and his entire portion will be filmed across Rajasthan.

Coming to the film, it sees Rajinikanth playing a prison jailer and it has also been predominantly shot inside a prison. ‘Jailer’ also stars Shivrajkumar and Mohanlal in key roles apart from Tamannaah Bhatia and Ramya Krishnan.

In Tamil cinema, Jackie last featured in ‘Rendagam’, co-starring Arvind Swamy and Kunchako Boban. His other notable films in Tamil are Vijay’s ‘Bigil’, ‘Aaranya Kaandam’ and ‘Maayavan’.

Rajinikanth, on the other hand, was last seen in Tamil film ‘Annaatthe’, which also starred Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Khushbhu Sundar, Meena and Jagapathi Babu.
