The countdown to the grand finale of 'Bigg Boss 17' has officially commenced, and it's not long when we will see who the winner is. In the latest episode, Bigg Boss orchestrated an elaborate set for only last elimination in the middle of the week, narrowing down its contenders to the top five finalists. The one who got evicted was Vicky Jain, just a few days before the finale.
When the process of declaring the finalists started, Abhishek Kumar's name was announced first, followed by Mannara Chopra and Munawar Faruqui. Then the fate of the remaining three, Arun Mashetty, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, was dependent upon their luck. They were asked to pick up chits, which would decide which one of the three would be out of the finale's race. Before announcing what their chits said, Bigg Boss asked real-life couple Ankita and Vicky about doing the show as a couple. The actress expressed that the journey was tough whereas Vicky stated that being in the Bigg Boss House has helped him understand their relationship much better than before.

The three then went to declare what their chits say, and it turns out Vicky's the one to get evicted. As he hugged the finalists, Ankita started to tear up and refused to let him go. She said, "You played the game really well. You came here with no strong backing, following but made your place in the show. I am proud to be your wife. I can proudly say that I am Vicky Jain's wife Ankita Lokhande."
As the 'Pavitra Rishta' actress continued to cry, her freshly eliminated husband teased her that he would now be able to go out and party. Later, after Vicky left, Ankita was seen talking to others as she wasn't able to get a hold on her emotions. However, Munawar told her that it's a good thing she didn't hold back just for show.

With Vicky's elimination, Munawar Faruqui, Ankita Lokhande, Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra and Arun Mashetty become the final 5. We'll see who wins on January 28.
