Team ‘Dahaad’, featuring actors Sonakshi Sinha, Gulshan Devaiah and Sohum Shah, launched the film’s trailer on Wednesday. The three actors, at the event, even teased their o-star Vijay Varma by mentioning actor Tamannaah Bhatia’s name repeatedly.

For the unversed, Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia have been reportedly dating each other. Rumours of them dating kick started when a video of them kissing each other at a New Year’s bash in Goa went viral on social media. But the two have kept mum on the same.

So, at the trailer launch of Prime Video’s ‘Dahaad’, when Gulshan was asked how it was for Gulshan to be a part of the series, the actor said, “I was in uniform most of the time so I really enjoyed that. Bachpan se meri tamannaah thi ki mein uniform pehen ke kuch karu (it was my childhood wish to wear the uniform).”

Vijay, who was standing next to Gulshan, kept blushing. Later, Sohum also joked that it was his ‘tamannaah’ to do a role like this. “I have never done anything like this, the show has very strong writing.” The anchor then said, “Hume khushi hai ki aapki tamannaah puri hui hai,” as Vijay laughed and blushed.

Sonakshi, who was standing next to Vijay, quipped, “Itni hichkiyan aa rahi hogi na uss ladki ko (the girl must be getting so many hiccups),” as Vijay tried to control his laughter.

Meanwhile, at the event, Vijay shared his excitement to be part of the 8-part crime drama series created by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar. “I had worked with them on Gully Boy, then I worked with Excel on Mirzapur. I was excited to get something else with them and then came Dahaad. I was absolutely floored by what I read, by the character and the entire story. I really like to work with them,” Vijay said
