Mexico wrap up their final World Cup warm-up in emphatic fashion, cruising to a 5-1 victory over Serbia at the Nemesio Diez Stadium. Despite falling behind to Petar Stanic's early opener, El Tri responded brilliantly through Johan Vasquez's header before a Stefan Bukinac own goal handed the hosts a halftime lead. Raúl Jiménez added a third after the break, while another Serbian own goal from Adem Avdic and a stunning long-range strike from Luis Chávez completed the rout. The convincing win gives Javier Aguirre's side plenty of confidence ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup opener, while Serbia are left with questions after a difficult evening in Toluca.
