Chelsea 3-0 PSG, FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Final: Palmer Double Seals Big Win For Blues
Chelsea outclassed Paris Saint-Germain in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 final at MetLife Stadium on 14 July, winning 3-0 after two goals and an assist from Cole Palmer. The Blues took the lead in the 22nd minute after Palmer finished off a blistering run by Malo Gusto, and added another at the half-hour mark. He then set up Joao Pedro to chip over Gianluigi Donnarumma to give Chelsea a three-goal half-time lead. The Blues defended strongly against a resurgent PSG side in the second half, with Robert Sanchez making key saves to deny Desire Doue and Vitinha. Despite PSG’s ball dominance, they couldn’t break the Chelsea defence after going down to ten men, with the Premier League side winning the expanded 32-team tournament.
