Barcelona come roaring back! They respond to Real Sociedad's opener with a leveller in the 43rd minute. Another defender scores, this time Jules Kounde. The Frenchman heads in Marcus Rashford's inch-perfect delivery off a corner kick, and Barca are in their element again.

The first half ends after three minutes of added time, and Barcelona have swung the momentum in their favour with Kounde's late equaliser. Hansi Flick's side have recently done more damage in the second half, and Real Sociedad would no doubt be wary of that.

The players return from the lemon break and the second half begins. Barcelona now kicking from left to right and Real Sociedad from right to left. Dani Olmo comes in for Dro Fernandez as the sole substitution post the break for the hosts.

Instant impact from Lamine Yamal! Moments after taking the pitch as a second-half substitute, the 18-year-old sensation delivers a superb cross to Robert Lewandowski, who rises to head it in, as is his wont. Barcelona take the lead in the 59th minute, and are now calling the shots.

Lamine Yamal now finds the back of the net himself, but the goal is disallowed for offside in the 74th minute. The teenager surges forward and shoots from his left foot, but the referee rules he was just beyond the offside zone and the scoreline stays at 2-1.

The match is into stoppage time now, with five minutes added overall. It will take something special for Sociedad to avert a Barcelona win from here.

And that's that. The full-time whistle blows and Barcelona clinch a 2-1 win at home. It was not easy going all through, with Sociedad drawing first blood. But goals from Jules Kounde and Robert Lewandowski, aided by Lamine Yamal's second-half star turn, mean Hansi Flick's side leap to the top of the La Liga standings.
