Welcome everyone. We are nearing the end of the FIFA Arab Cup's group-stage and the fight for quarter-final spots is still alive. Sudan meet Bahrain with their hopes still alive, though only just. Watch this space for the build-up and live updates.
The match kicks off at 10:30pm IST. The Bahrain vs Sudan, FIFA Arab Cup 2025 match will be live streamed on the Alkass Sports YouTube channel in India. It will not be telecast on any platform in the country.
Iraq, who are already through to the quarters, are on top with six perfect points, while Algeria are second with four. Sudan have one points and a much worse goal difference than Algeria, which means it would take something miraculous for the Falcons of Jediane to overtake the defending champs. Bahrain are out of contention with zero points.

The match has kicked off in Al-Rayyan. Sudan know that their hopes of advancement are hanging by a thread. All they can do is score goals, and try conceding none.
In the Algeria vs Iraq encounter, Hussein Ali has been dramatically sent off in the fifth minute. He was initially shown a yellow card for a foul in the second minute, but upon VAR review, the referee made it a straight red. Hussein Ali was utterly disconsolate and had to be literally dragged off the pitch.
Bahrain take the lead in the 37th minute! Abdulla Alkhalasi comes up with an inch-perfect assisting pass and Abdoul Jabbar gleefully drives it in past the Sudan goalie. The Falcons of Jediane's remote chances of snatching a quarter-final berth are quickly evaporating.
The scoreline stays at 1-0 in Bahrain's favour, going into half-time. To add to that, Algeria have taken the lead against Bahrain at the Khalifa International Stadium, which means Sudan are on the doorstep of elimination.
The second half kicks off in Al-Rayyan. Bahrain now attacking from right to left and Sudan in the opposite direction.
Sudan are down to 10 men! Mohamed Ahmed is given the marching orders in the 57th minute after a VAR check. They make a couple of substitutions soon after, bringing in Salaheldin Adil for Walieldin Khdir and Eltayeb Abaker for Abdelrazig Yagoub in the 61st minute.
Sudan fight back in the 72nd minute, as Vincent Emmanuel puts the ball in the back of his own net. They are still going to be eliminated in all likelihood, but the goal is a silver lining.
And just like that, Bahrain are back in the lead. Mustafa Karshoum's foul undergoes a VAR check and a penalty is awarded in the 76th minute. Mohamed Alromaihi steps up and converts the spot kick to compound Sudan's woes.
Bahrain are keen to bow out on a high. They net their third goal in the 89th minute, as Ali Madan sets up a smart pass for Mahdi Alhumaidan to finish at the goal-mouth. That would take the sting out of Sudan, and many supporters are seen leaving the venue soon after the goal in exasperation.
After around six added minutes in the second half, the referee brings the match to an end. Bahrain win 3-1 to end their campaign with a victory, and Sudan, who had bleak hopes of advancing before the game, are also eliminated.
