RR Vs MI, IPL 2026: Jaiswal, Sooryavanshi Shape Royals' 27-Run Win In Rain-Hit Match
Rajasthan Royals rode a whirlwind 80-run opening partnership between Yashasvi Jaiswal (77 not out off 32) and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (39 off 14) to outbat Mumbai Indians by 27 runs in a rain-curtailed match 13 of Indian Premier League 2026, at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Tuesday (April 8). The match was reduced to 11 overs a side and RR's young opening duo came all guns blazing against a shell-shocked MI bowling, with Sooryavanshi smashing pace maestro Jasprit Bumrah for six off the latter's first ball. The Royals posted a 150-run total and in response, Mumbai could only get to 123 for nine.
