India outclassed Pakistan with a commanding 7-wicket win in Dubai, wrapping up the chase with 25 balls to spare after bowling the Men in Green out of the contest early. Put in to bat, Pakistan collapsed from the outset as Hardik Pandya struck with the first legal delivery and Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Mohammad Haris soon after. Despite a gritty 40 from Sahibzada Farhan and a late flourish by Shaheen Shah Afridi (33 off 16), Pakistan limped to 127/9, with Kuldeep Yadav starring for India with 3/18, while Bumrah and Axar Patel took two apiece. In reply, Abhishek Sharma’s explosive 31 off 13 set the tone, supported by Tilak Varma’s steady 31, before captain Suryakumar Yadav, celebrating his birthday, anchored the chase with an unbeaten 47 off 37. Fittingly, SKY finished the game in style with a towering six, sealing India’s second straight win of the Asia Cup and yet another dominant performance over Pakistan in T20Is.
