The 25-year-old Gill hit his fourth Test century of the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy series on Sunday and became the third player to hit four tons in a Test series as captain. Sir Don Bradman did the same in 1947/48 against India at home, and Gavaskar achieved the feat against the West Indies in 1978/79 at home. He is the first captain to do the same in an away series.

Gill has also made 722 runs so far in this series and is looking to overshadow Bradman's record of most runs in a Test series (810). This is his debut series as Test captain.
He joined Virat Kohli and Gavaskar in another feat, which is for the most tons in a Test series. Gavaskar scored four centuries in his West Indies tour in 1971 as well. Kohli did the same against Australia in the 2014/15 series.

Jofra Archer dismissed the Indian captain for 103 runs. Now, Indian batters are eyeing a draw from this situation, and Washington Sundar is batting with Ravindra Jadeja.
India are trailing by 2-1 in the five-match series and need to draw or win this match to stay alive in the series.
