Delhi Capitals captain Axar Patel won the toss and elected to bowl first against Mumbai Indians in match 8 of Indian Premier League 2026 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday (April 4). For five-time champions Mumbai, skipper Hardik Pandya is unwell and in his absence, Suryakumar Yadav is leading the side. Deepak Chahar came in for Pandya and Corbin Bosch and Mitchell Santner replaced Trent Boult and Allah Ghazanfar, respectively in the lineup. The Capitals went with an unchanged playing XI.
