Australia vs West Indies 3rd Test: Cameron Green Calls Late Wicket 'A Good Result' After Kingston Collapse

Cameron Green believes Australia achieved "a good result" in claiming an early West Indies wicket following their earlier collapse in Kingston.

The tourists, who are 2-0 to the good in the series, were all out for 225 in the first innings of the third Test, after a positive start saw them at 157-3.

Steve Smith (48) and Green (46) led Australia's charge, but their dismissals changed the complexion of the innings, with the Baggy Greens losing their remaining seven wickets for just 68 runs.

Shamar Joseph did the damage for West Indies with 4-33, while Jayden Seales and Justin Greaves took three wickets apiece.

"Every pitch has been tough," Green said. "The more balls you spend in the middle, you hope it gets better, but it just hasn't been the case.

"It's a bit of a grind first time with these balls, but a lot of learnings. Time in the middle is key - just trying to get used to their bowlers, their conditions."

West Indies finished the day on 16-1 after nine overs, though their early momentum was halted as Mitchell Starc marked his 100th Test appearance by claiming the wicket of Kevlon Anderson.

"We wanted to give them a tricky 45 minutes at the end, and I thought they batted beautifully," Green added. "To get them one down was a good result."
