AP are buoyant but still have a huge task ahead of them, defending a 113-run target.

Madhya Pradesh complete a phenomenal bowling performance to dismiss Andhra for just 112 runs in 19.1 overs. Shivam Shukla returns figures of 4/23 in four overs, while Tripuresh Singh claims three wickets (3/31 in four overs). KS Bharat's 31-ball 39 is the innings' top score.

It takes another international cricketer in the form of Venkatesh Iyer to break the KS Bharat-Nitish Reddy stand. Iyer pulls off a superb caught-and-bowled to send back Bharat, and Shivam Shukla then sees the back of Reddy. SDNV Prasad also departs, and AP lose half their side.

After the two early setbacks, senior Andhra pro KS Bharat is building a vital partnership with fellow India international Nitish Reddy. Bharat, in particular has been inventive with his strokeplay to launch a counter-attack on the MP bowlers. The run rate is still hovering around six, however.
