The Congress leader claims the chief minister Nitish Kumar is busy saving his seat while crime rises in the state and the BJP takes commissions.
He claimed that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is "busy saving his seat" and that ministers from the BJP "are raking in commissions." reported PTI
To support his claim, Gandhi shared screenshots of news reports that highlighted 31 murders occurring in the state in just 11 days and the existence of a "contract killing industry."
"Fear in every alley, unease in every home! Unemployed youth are being turned into killers by 'Gunda raj' (a rule of thugs)," Gandhi wrote in his post.
According to PTI, this is the second time in a month that Gandhi has used the "crime capital" label for Bihar. He made a similar statement after a prominent businessman, Gopal Khemka, was shot and killed outside his home in Patna. Khemka's murder was especially tragic, as his son had also been gunned down seven years earlier.
Looking ahead to the next state election, Gandhi urged voters to take a stand, saying, "this time, the vote is not just to change the government, but to save Bihar."
