On 'The Kerala Story' Controversy, PM Narendra Modi Accuses Congress Of Supporting Terror Elements

Kerala High Court on Friday refused to stay the release of the controversial film which hit theatres today. However, the producer of the movie, Vipul Amrutlal Shah agreed to remove the teaser which claimed that over 32,000 women from Kerala were recruited to ISIS, from their social media accounts

Amidst a controversy around film 'The Kerala Story', Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleged that the Congress is trying to oppose the film and 'support terror elements'.

PM Modi, currently campaigning in Bellary for the upcoming elections in Karnataka, said, "The movie ‘The Kerala story’ is trying to expose the consequences of terrorism in a society, especially in a state like Kerala which is beautiful land of hardworking, talented and intellectual people. The Congress party is now trying to ban the film and support the terror elements. It only knows to ban things and completely ignore development. The party even has a problem with me chanting ‘Jai Bajarang Bali’"
