Indonesia's Ministry of Forestry is coordinating with Indian authorities and CITES to repatriate five rescued baby orangutans suspected to be native Sumatran apes.
Forest department officials recovered the five young primates from the Bichitrapur forest area in Balasore district on September 8.
The cubs, aged between six months and one year, are currently quarantined in a temperature-controlled facility at Nandankanan Zoological Park in Bhubaneswar.
