Delhi has recorded 1,777 H1N1 cases in 2026, including 114 new cases reported on August 20, with no deaths recorded from the infection.
The Health Ministry has urged people to recognise symptoms including fever, cough, sore throat, headache, runny nose, body aches and fatigue and seek medical advice if symptoms persist.
Union Health Minister JP Nadda reviewed influenza surveillance and healthcare preparedness, including hospital beds, critical-care facilities and essential medical supplies.
