Q1. You have built a strong presence as a leader, entrepreneur, and advocate for women. What has been your driving force behind your mission?

My mission began with a simple realization: talent is universal, but opportunity is not. After returning to the workforce following a career pause, I experienced firsthand how access to networks, visibility, and relationships shapes outcomes. That inspired me to build Women in Cloud as economic access infrastructure that helps people transform capability into opportunity and become Opportunity Multipliers for others.

Q2. You launched the #WICxSaksham initiative last year. Where does the campaign stand today, and what measurable impact has it created on the ground?

WICxSaksham is helping build a cyber-strong, AI-ready Bharat by connecting workforce readiness to economic participation. Through Women in Cloud's workforce initiatives, we have enabled over 7,000 scholarships globally, including 5,000+ in AI, Cloud, and Cybersecurity. Our focus is getting 100 universities to implement Cyber Resilience Center of Excellence and helping them create Trust Assets, employability, leadership pathways, and long-term economic mobility.

Q3. Looking ahead, what is your long-term vision for WICxSaksham, and how do you plan to scale its reach across industries and geographies?

By 2030, WICxSaksham aims to certify one million individuals across AI, Cloud, and Cybersecurity disciplines. Our vision is to help India build the talent infrastructure needed for its digital future while strengthening cyber resilience and innovation. We are scaling through Ecosystem Leadership bringing together government, academia, industry, and communities to accelerate economic participation at scale.

Q4. You recently announced the FoundHerWorld Campaign. What gap did you identify in the entrepreneurial ecosystem that led to its creation?

We discovered that founders do not suffer from a talent gap; they suffer from an access gap. Many women entrepreneurs have strong solutions but lack visibility, customers, partnerships, and market access. FoundHerWorld was designed to help founders access capital, partnership and ecosystems to build their businesses

Q5. You often speak about "Iconic Leadership." How do you define an iconic leader in today's rapidly evolving business environment?

An ICONIC Leader is someone who creates opportunity that outlives their presence. They are measured not by what they build for themselves, but by what they enable for others. In an AI-powered economy, Character Advantage trust, judgment, courage, and empathy become the most valuable leadership currency because it cannot be automated.

Q6. Many women-led businesses struggle with visibility, funding, and mentorship. How is Women in Cloud helping address these challenges?

Women in Cloud focuses on creating economic access, not simply awareness. Through #FoundHerWorld initiative, we help founders build visibility, strengthen their Trust Assets, connect to customers, access procurement opportunities, and expand their networks. Our goal is to help women-led businesses move from potential to participation and from participation to prosperity.

Q7. As someone who has worked closely with founders, executives, and changemakers, what leadership trends are you seeing emerge among the next generation of women leaders?

The strongest leaders today are practicing Ecosystem Leadership. They are moving beyond individual success and focusing on building communities, partnerships, and opportunities for others. They understand that influence is no longer about authority; it is about trust, collaboration, and the ability to multiply opportunities across networks.

Q8. What are the key leadership qualities that aspiring women entrepreneurs need to cultivate?

I encourage entrepreneurs to focus on Leadership Altitude, Character Advantage, and Navigational Agility. Markets will change and technology will evolve, but leaders who can build trust, adapt quickly, and create value through relationships will continue to thrive. The future belongs to Opportunity Creators, not simply business operators.

Q9. In your opinion, how can organizations move beyond symbolic representation and create genuine pathways for women to lead and succeed?

Organizations must move beyond counting representation and start measuring participation and opportunity creation. The real question is whether women have access to leadership roles, decision-making authority, customers, capital, and growth opportunities. Sustainable change happens when economic access is embedded into the operating system of the organization.

Q10. What role do platforms, communities, and industry networks play in accelerating women's leadership and entrepreneurial success today?

Communities are the infrastructure of economic opportunity. They help individuals build Trust Assets, expand their People Network Map, and gain access to customers, mentors, partners, and sponsors. Every breakthrough opportunity is usually connected to a relationship, and communities accelerate those connections.

Q11. Are there any new initiatives, platforms, or campaigns currently in the pipeline that you are particularly excited about?

I am excited about three initiatives. FoundHerWorld is creating visibility and demand for entrepreneurs. WICxSaksham is helping build an AI-ready and cyber-ready workforce. And ICONIC Leadership is democratizing leadership wisdom so more people can become Opportunity Multipliers and help shape the future of the Intelligence Economy.

Q12. As you look ahead to the next five years, what legacy do you hope FoundHerWorld, WICxSaksham, and other initiatives of yours will leave behind?

I hope our legacy is that we helped build economic access infrastructure that enabled millions of people to participate in the AI economy. If more people gain jobs, launch companies, lead organizations, and create opportunities for others because of these platforms, then we have succeeded. The ultimate measure of leadership is the opportunity we leave behind.

Q13. What global partnerships or collaborations would you like to pursue to accelerate the impact of your initiatives?

The future belongs to ecosystems, not individual organizations. We are excited to collaborate with governments such as G20 Leaders, technology companies, educational institutions, investors, and global development organizations that share a commitment to economic participation. Together, we can create scalable pathways that help more people contribute to and benefit from the AI-powered economy.
