Sitaare Zameen Par: Aamir Khan Honoured With A Special Recognition Award By Exhibitors Nationwide

Aamir Khan’s recently released Sitaare Zameen Par, a spiritual sequel to his 2007 cult film, Taare Zameen Par, has received overwhelming response from critics and audiences alike. Apart from Aamir, the film also featured 10 promising debutants who have been raved for their heartwarming performances. The film is filled with laughter, emotions, and hope, and has struck a deep chord with everyone.

Aamir has been lauded for his decision to skip Sitaare Zameen Par's OTT release, and follow the theatrical route, an effort widely appreciated by cinema owners and exhibitors across the country. The sports drama is also performing well at the box office. It has collected Rs 137.8 crore, in fifteen days of its release.

To celebrate the film's phenomenal success, multiplex exhibitors hosted a special evening, which was graced by Aamir Khan. Mr Perfectionist shared heartwarming moments with everyone present at the event and received tokens of appreciation from the exhibitors. He was also honoured with a special recognition award by the group of exhibitors. The pics from the special event have gone viral on social media.

Sitaare Zameen Par stars 10 rising stars: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. Directed by R. S. Prasanna, the film also starred Genelia Deshmukh.

The film has been produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, B. Shrinivas Rao and Ravi Bhagchandka. Music is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, and Divy Nidhi Sharma has penned the screenplay.
