The keynote address by Arpit Sharma, CEO of the Skill Council for Green Jobs, captured one of the most significant transitions underway. Speaking about India’s sustainability commitments, he stated, “Green jobs are not the future—they are the present. Panelist Devvesh P. Srivastav expanded on technological change in the workplace, observing, “AI will not replace HR, but HR professionals who fail to adapt may find themselves replaced.” His remarks underscored the rising importance of emotional intelligence, adaptability, and digital fluency.

Logistics expert Himanshu Agarwal described the sector as being in the middle of a structural shift, commenting, “Logistics is no longer about movement alone—it is about intelligence, speed, and strategy.”

Adding a people-first perspective, Parul Rao remarked, “Strong internal communication is the difference between a functioning organization and a thriving one.”
And closing the discussion, Parveen Sehrawat of HCL Technologies offered a reminder: “A good HR leader must understand business; without understanding sales, you cannot understand strategy.”
