In a spine-chilling incident, a tiger jumped beyond confinement when a group of tourists came close to click pictures. A video on Twitter shows the nerve-wracking moment when the tiger leaps.

The 15-second clip, shared on January 21 by Indian Forest Service Officer Susanta Nanda on the microblogging platform, has left viewers shocked and scared. A group of tourists can be seen inching towards the wild animal to click pictures and take videos -- and the group can be separated by a low wall. The tiger soon jumps and walks over the wall, indistinctly glancing towards its spectators.

Gasps of horror and fear can be heard in the video. No one seems to be injured in the video as the tiger didn't appear to attack anyone.

While sharing the video, Nanda condemned the careless behaviour of the visitors, terming their response "Idiotitis".

"When human brain shuts down, mouth keeps talking."

Twitter users criticised tourists' behaviour and deemed it disrespectful of wildlife. They also urged authorities to call out the irresponsible tourists.

The video has since been viewed over 11,000 times and gained almost 1,000 likes.
