Rahul Gandhi continues to be the butt of all jokes, ever since his colossal defeat in the  Assembly elections this year. Now, a student from an engineering college has now proposed mentioning the Congress VP in the Guinness book of world records for losing a record 27 elections.

According to a report by Times Now,  Visal Diwan , a student from Madhya Pradesh’s Hoshangabad had  approached the Guinness Book of World Records to mention the name of the Congress Vice President.

Rahul Gandhi has often been attributed with the monumental decline of the Congress' power in the country, losing  the 2014 General Assembly Elections, led by Gandhi and yet again this year in the Assembly elections, where the party allied with former government in power Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh.  Gandhi's partnership with Akhilesh Yadav from Samajwadi Party didn't work and the Congress VP added one more election loss in his list of many.

The BJP, however, sweeped the state with a historic win, taking over 312 seats, leaving behind the SP-Congress coalition with just 54 seats in its favour.
