How 275 was arrived at: with thanks to the opposition MPs who voted in favour of the UPA:

Five from BJP:
Brijbhushan Sharan Singh (Balrampur)
Somabhai Patel (Surendranagar)
Manorama Madhawraj (Udupi)
Manjunath Kunnur Channappa (Dharwad South)
H T Sangliana (Bangalore North)

Two from TDP:
Dr Audikeshavalu (Chitoor)
M Jagannath (Nagarkurnool)

One each from
JD(S):
M Shivanna (Chamarajanagar)
JD(U): Ramswarup Prasad (Nalanda)
BJD: Harihara Swain (Aska)
TRS: A Narendra (Medak)
NLP: Baleshwar Yadav (Padrauna)

But that was not all. What kept the votes against the UPA limited to 256 were the abstentions and no shows: 8 didn't show up and 2 abstained that included:
