In a significant move for Nepal's tourism sector, the government officially declared Pokhara the country's tourism capital during a ceremony held at the Barahi Ghat on March 17. Presided over by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', the event was marked by musical performances by celebrated artists, symbolising the region's cultural richness.
