Herp enthusiasts, this is something right up your alley. The odds of spotting Malabar gliding frogs, wrinkled frogs, the endemic dancing frog, golden-backed frog, Malabar pit viper, keelback, butterflies and damselflies and many more species, are quite high in these regions.

The rain-soaked forests of the Western Ghats are also well-known for their many spectacular waterfalls, rivulets, wild flowers and endemic birds (if you are lucky enough to spot some, given the weather!)
