But it also includes three key members of the current Indian men's cricket team - Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja and Shreyas Iyer. The threesome, who were part of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 side which stopped just short of the title, happen to all be born on the same date. Each of them played a crucial role in India getting to the final, and will continue to be instrumental to Men In Blue's fortunes in future tournaments.

On their special day, let's understand what makes the trio so special.

Jasprit Bumrah
The India pace spearhead has time and again showed why he is arguably the Indian team's most valuable asset right now, with his lethal, versatile fast bowling. Bumrah's ability to turn the game on its head with important breakthroughs in high-pressure situations has earned him a special place in the hearts of cricket fans worldwide. He is India's strike fast bowler in whichever format they play - Test, ODI or T20.

Ravindra Jadeja
The all-rounder from Jamnagar, Gujarat, easily has the highest three-dimensional impact among the current India cricketers. He has an arcane talent of being able to alter the complexion of the game with any of his three core skills - batting, bowling and fielding. What's more, Jadeja has added fresh defensive gears to his otherwise aggressive batting style over the years, making him the world's most dangerous Test all-rounder - as reflected in the ICC rankings as well.

Shreyas Iyer
The 29-year-old flamboyant right-handed batter from Mumbai has made a name for himself with his attacking yet reliable batting. Iyer has all the shots in the book and is particularly proficient against spin bowling, as evidenced by the effortless ease with wihich he hits tweakers out of the park. Iyer amassed 530 runs at an average of 66.25 and strike rate of 113.24 in the 2023 ODI World Cup, including a crucial century against New Zealand in the semi-final.
