In an action packed Saturday, the day began with a convincing win for the Indian women's cricket team as they defeated England women's by 347 runs in the one-off Test match. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023 final, Haryana beat Rajasthan to lift their maiden title. Elsewhere in football, Bengaluru FC finally grabbed a win as they defeated Jamshedpur FC 1-0 in ISL. 11:29 PM: Manchester City Drop Points At Home

Boos echoed around the Etihad as reigning champions Manchester City dropped points against Crystal Palace despite leading 2-0. An injury time equaliser from the spot by Michael Olise meant City could go six points adrift of Liverpool if they win tomorrow.

10:06 PM: English Premier League Update

During a match between Luton Town and Bournemouth AFC, visiting team player Tom Lockyer collapsed on the field in between the match. Elsewhere, Manchester City are leading Crystal Palace, along with Chelsea who are 2-0 up against Sheffield United. 

8:00 PM: Australia's Marnus Labuschagne To Undergo Scan

Aussie batter Marnus Labuschagne will undergo a scan after taking a blow to his finger off a Khurram Shahzad delivery during the 1st Australia vs Pakistan Test.

6:20 PM: India Vs Spain, FIH Junior Men's World Cup 2023, Bronze Medal Match

Heart-break for the Indian colts as they go down 3-1 to Spain in the bronze medal match. Goalkeeper Mohith had a good game, but India once again couldn't convert their chances.

5:47 PM: Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023 Final Update

In the final between Rajasthan and Haryana, the latter have posted 287/8 in the 50 overs.Ankit Kumar (88) and skipper Ashok Menaria (70) led the charge to take their team towards a massive total. For Rajasthan, Aniket Choudhary was the pick of the bowlers with a fourfer.

4:15 PM: Cricket Update 

Its Stumps in Perth as Australia end Day 3 of their Test match against Pakistan firmly on the front foot. At the end of play, Australia lead Pakistan by 300 runs after returning the entire team to the pavilion for a 271-run total and then making 84 of their own. Australia did, however, lose first innings' hero David Warner for a duck! 

2:50 PM: Heather Knight Blames 'Super Extreme' Conditions For Loss

England faced "super extreme" circumstances in their Test loss to India, according to skipper Heather Knight. England were knocked out for 136 and 131 in a 347-run loss in Mumbai. Deepti Sharma grabbed nine wickets with her off-spin in the match, while seamer Pooja Vastrakar got 3-23 in an excellent performance on day three.

2:30 PM: Ben Stokes Hoping To Be Fully Fit For Test Series In India

England all-rounder Ben Stokes said on Friday that his rehabilitation from knee surgery last month is going well and that he hopes to make more improvement in the next two weeks.  Stokes had successful surgery on his left knee on November 29 to be ready for the Test series in India, which begins in January next year.

1:50 PM: Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023 Final Underway 

Rajasthan and Haryana are playing each other in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023 Final at the time of writing. Haryana won the toss and chose to bat first, compelling Rajasthan to try their attempts with the ball and in the field.

12:50 PM: India Beat England In Historic Result! 

The Indian Women's National Cricket Team destroyed the visiting England in the one-off Test between the pair in Navi Mumbai, winning by a historic-best 347 runs. India, who had set England a target of 479 runs, struck out their opponents on 131, recording the biggest margin of victory between themselves and a beaten opponent. 

12:00 PM: Shami, Chahar Out Of IND vs RSA

In a bitter blow to Team India, both Mohammed Shami and Deepak Chahar have been ruled out of their ongoing seris against South Africa. Shami, who was scheduled to join the Test squad, failed to heal from an injury in time, while Chahar, part of the ODI squad, chose to stay back home to deal with an ongoing family emergency.

Indian Women's Team are edging toward a significant victory against England in Navi Mumbai as things stands. Setting their opponents a target of 479, India have managed to claim seven wickets at the time of writing, leaving England 91/7 with 384 runs to win - or 180 more overs to survive for a draw.

Pakistan are chasing a mammoth taget on Day 3 of the Test against Australia in Perth. The hosts put up a 487-run total from their first innings, with the visitors still some distance behind when the teams broke for Lunch on Day 3. Pakistan, as its stands, have 203 runs on the board for the loss of six wickets, and are trailing Australia by 284.

9:00 AM: Late Night Football Round-up 

Premier League - Ten-men Tottenham Hotspur churned out a gritty win against a spiralling Nottingham Forest on Friday night to go level on points with fourth-placed Aston Villa, albeit having now played a game more. Yves Bissouma saw red for Spurs but only after Richarlison and dejan Kulusevski had given them a lead that proved insurmountable for Forest in the end. 

Serie A - Title-chasers Juventus dropped significant points at a relegation-threatened Genoa, meanwhile, after Albert Gudmundsson cancelled out Federico Chiesa's opener in the 48th minute. Juve remained a point behind league leaders Inter Milan, who have the opportunity to increase their lead to four points on Sunday when they take on Lazio.

Ligue 1 - Olympique Lyonnais registered their third win of the season - and second in a row - to climb out of the relegation spots and into the relegation-playoff slot. Lyon, who had languished winless at the bottom of the table for the longest time this season, rode high against a Champions League-chasing AS Monaco, courtesy of Jeffinho's goal five minutes from time. 

Bundesliga - The in-form Rocco Reitz scored twice as Borussia Monchengladbach drew 2-2 at home to Werder Bremen. The visitors took the lead in the seventh minute through Rafael Santos Borre, before a Reitz double turned the tide around in Gladbach's favour. Marvin Ducksch, however, restored parity in the 76th minute, enabling his team to leave the Borussia-Park with a point.

La Liga - Raul Garcia's last-gasp goal helped Osasuna beat Rayo Vallecano in Friday night Spanish football match. The result meant that Osasuna had recorded their first win in five games while Rayo remained winless during the same time period. Rayo are tenth in the league at the time of writing, with Osasuna two spots below.
