Earlier, Devin Haney overwhelmed his American compatriot Regis Prograis 120-107 for a unanimous decision to win the WBC Super Welterweight title at Chase Center in San Francisco. All three judges scored 120-107 in Haney’s favor. Haney, now 31-0, remained unbeaten with a dominant showing in his division debut. This was Prograis's (29-2), first defeat since October 2019.
