India's Narender Berwal (+92kg) came back after losing the first round to clinch a 5-0 win in the quarterfinals against Iran's Iman Ramezanpourdelavar.
Narender confirmed the fourth boxing medal for India in the Asian Games 2023 after Nikhat Zareen, Preeti Pawar and Lovlina Borgohain won their respective quarterfinal bouts earlier.

The Indian received five 10s in the second and third round after losing the first round to the Iranian. In this way, he came back spectacularly to turn the tide and emerge victorious despite the early setback.
Narender will contest his semifinal bout on Tuesday, October 3 and will be looking to upgrade the colour of his medal.
