Uttar Pradesh Government Says Mission Rojgar Campaign Helped Decreasing Unemployement Rate By 3.8%

When the Yogi Adityanath government was formed, the unemployment rate in Uttar Pradesh was 6.4 per cent and after the Mission Rojgar was launched, it has come down to 2.6 per cent in 2023.

The Uttar Pradesh government claimed that the Mission Rojgar campaign has given promising results of a decline of 3.8 per cent over the last six years.

The government on its official X account announced, "Mission Rojgar campaign, run in accordance with the public interest sentiments of Shri @myogiadityanath ji, is today taking the state towards prosperity by connecting every section of the society with employment/self-employment. In view of the Antyodaya goal of the government, it is the result of efficient operation of employment related schemes that a decline of 3.8% has been recorded in the unemployment rate in Uttar Pradesh in the last 06 years."

According to reports, when the Yogi Adityanath government was formed, the unemployment rate in Uttar Pradesh was 6.4 per cent and after the Mission Rojgar was launched, in 2023 it has come down to 2.6 per cent.

Reportedly, six lakh government jobs were given out in the last six years and out of that one and a half lakh were given in the police department.

Further, it said that, in October, the Chief Minister issued appointment letters to 394 homeopathic pharmacists and 219 principals selected by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. Additionally, on June 9, 7182 ANM health workers were employed, and on June 10, 1442 staff nurses were hired.
