Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed assistive devices to children with disabilities and inaugurated ICT labs in smart classrooms, as well as Block Resource Centre facilities at schools in Gorakhpur.

During the gathering at the Yogiraj Baba Gambhirnath auditorium, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also distributed 14,360 tablets to teachers in schools spanning four districts in the Gorakhpur division, including Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Deoria, and Kushinagar.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath led the event in Gorakhpur on Wednesday to bolster the drive for enhancing the skills and intelligence of schoolchildren.

Yogi inaugurated Information and Communication Technology (ICT) labs in 64 development blocks within the Gorakhpur division. Along with that he also launched smart classes in 1,086 council schools.

Reportedly, he is supposed to distribute over 3,780 wonder boxes, created by ITI Gandhinagar, to co-located Anganwadi centres for pre-primary education at the event.

Additionally, Braille kits, hearing aids, tricycles, wheelchairs, crutches, and special chairs for children with disabilities were given to the divyang or differently-abled children.
