The earthquake occurred at 3:36 pm and the epicentre was in the North Delhi district, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).

A 2.6-magnitude earthquake struck Delhi on Saturday

A 2.6-magnitude earthquake struck Delhi on Saturday afternoon and tremors were felt in the surrounding National Capital Region (NCR) as well. 

The earthquake occurred at 3:36 pm and the epicentre was in the North Delhi district, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).

The geographic coordinates shared by the NCS put the epicentre close to the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border. 

There were no immediate reports of loss of life or damage to property.
