Ajay Devgn has returned to the comedy genre with the sequel of his 2012 film Son of Sardaar. Ajay is reprising his character Jassi, the lively sardaar. The trailer opens with the text asking, "He survived Punjab, will he survive Scotland too?" Son of Sardaar 2 is set in Scotland this time, and it promises to tickle your funny bones for sure.

The almost 3-minute trailer shows Ajay Devgn's character cheering for an older woman, whom he calls 'bebe', performing a pole dance, and as she collapses, there is a joke "Bebe marr gayi (Old woman is dead).” The trailer also introduces other characters who are apparently attending a wedding. In one of the scenes, Ajay can be seen pretending to be Sunny Deol from Border, Ravi Kishan’s character also adds humour as she speaks in incorrect English. There is also a glimpse of Mrunal Thakur and Devgn's characters.
The one-liners in the trailer, such as "Just Joking" and "Kadi Hass Bhi Liya Karo", hint that the film will be a full time-pass entertainer with plenty of comedy and action.

Sanjay Mishra, Vindu Dara Singh, Deepak Dobriyal, Dolly Ahluwalia, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Sahil Mehta are also part of the ensemble cast. Son of Sardaar 2 is actor Mukul Dev's swansong, who passed away in May 2025.

Son of Sardaar 2 release date
Son of Sardaar 2 is produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, NR Pachisia and Pravin Talreja and co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the comedy film is all set to hit theatres on July 25, 2025.
The first instalment starred Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt, alongside Ajay.
