Aamir Khan returned to the theatres after a gap of three years, with RS Prasanna's Sitaare Zameen Par. The sports comedy drama, which released on June 20, opened to mostly positive reviews and registered a solid weekend by minting almost Rs 60 crore in its three-day haul. However, it failed the Monday test. On Day 4, Sitaare Zameen Par witnessed a massive drop in the figures, as it earned in single digit.

As per a report in Sacnilk, Sitaare Zameen Par earned only Rs 8.50 crore on the fourth day of its release, at the domestic box office. So, the total box office collection of Aamir Khan starrer stands at Rs 66.65 crore.
It had an overall 19.15% Hindi occupancy on Monday, with maximum occupancy of 27.42% during the night shows, and minimum occupancy of 8.73% during the morning shows. Afternoon and evening shows had footfall of 17.24% and 23.20%, respectively.

Sacnilk's report states that the film has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide and with this it has become the 8th Bollywood movie of 2025, to achieve the feat. In India, Sitaare Zameen Par has earned around 80 crore gross, and the overseas collection is an estimated Rs 30 crore, taking the worldwide collection to Rs 110 crore in four days.
