Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan headed to their ancestral home, the Pataudi Palace, to celebrate their elder son Taimur Ali Khan's seventh birthday on Wednesday, December 20. Karisma Kapoor and her son Kiaan also joined them for the bash. Karisma even shared a bunch of pictures from Taimur's football themed birthday celebrations. Taimur’s birthday cake clearly hinted that the young boy is a Lionel Messi fan.
Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Karisma simply wrote, “Happy birthday to our Tim Timmy. #familylove.” In one of the pictures, Karisma is seen posing with Taimur on her lap, while another one has her wearing a birthday cap while posing with brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan. In the Instagram post, there were also happy pictures of Karisma and Kareena. A picture of Taimur's cake depicted how it was decorated with edible miniatures of Messi's FC Barcelona jersey, a football and a trophy. Taimur's birthday bash was held under the sun, in the lawn area of the Pataudi Palace.

Taimur along with Karisma's son Kiaan twinned in Messi's 10 Inter Pink Football Team jerseys for the party.
Meanwhile, Kareena too had shared a candid picture of herself on her Instagram, and wrote, "Not the birthday girl but the proud birthday mama." She looked stunning in a colourful shirt and denims.
A couple of days ago, Kareena and Saif had flown to Delhi before Taimur's birthday, along with their two-year-old son, Jehangir.
Earlier, Kareena had also posted a glimpse of their sunny winter days at the Pataudi Palace. Sharing a picture of Saif sitting at a dining table in the lawn, she had written, “Makki ki roti, sarson da saag from our very own ghar ka bagh. P.S. these are a few of my favourite things #wintersupnorth #winterwoman.”
