V, RM, Jung Kook and Jimin of BTS are all set to move on to a new chapter of their lives -- these stars will soon be enlisting in the mandatory military services of South Korea. With many reports circulating about their enlistment dates and special units, the light is currently on Kim Tae-hyung, also known as V, who apparently chose to enlist in the Special Task Force of the Army's Capital Defense Command.

The Special Task Force does various high-stakes operations, which include rescuing hostages, counter insurgencies, and counter-terrorism missions. Additionally, the unit provides VIP security and executes special operations under the orders of the President.

Officials have not yet confirmed any of these reports, which is important to highlight. In response, BIGHIT MUSIC issued a brief statement, stating that the joining dates are still under consideration and that they cannot verify any information regarding the members' duties, as of now.

This comes to light after reports were circulating recently that Jimin and Jung Kook had been assigned to the Army's 5th Infantry Division boot camp. What makes this interesting is that the band's oldest member, Jin is already working there as an assistant trainer, increasing the chances of the two being trained by him. Dispatch claims that their basic military training starts from December 12, while RM and V will go to the Nonsan Training Center on December 11 for the same.

The band's other members have already enlisted, with Suga doing public service obligations since September and J-hope working as an assistant instructor at the New Recruit Training Center in Gangwon province since April. The seven-member band is set to make a comeback sometime in 2025.
