Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's 'Tiger 3' saw a drop on Day 6, on its first Friday. However, it entered the Rs 200 crore club in India. The film showed an excellent hold till Day 3 but on Day 4, the collection witnessed a major drop at the box office due to the India Vs New Zealand semi-final World Cup match. The match affected 'Tiger 3's box office collection. Day 5 also saw a dent in collection and on Day 6 too, the spy-thriller failed to earn much.
The makers of 'Tiger 3' without following the conventional day of the release, i.e. Friday, released the film on the occasion of Diwali on November 12 which was a Sunday. It received bumper opening at the ticket windows.

As per a report in Sacnilk, the action drama minted Rs 13.00 crore as per early estimates. It has finally crossed the Rs 200 crore mark. The Maneesh Sharma directorial had an overall 16.48% Hindi Occupancy on November 17.

Till Day 3, the film was Bollywood's third biggest hit of the year after 'Jawan' and 'Pathaan' and Salman's biggest theatrical opening. The second Sunday will be crucial for 'Tiger 3' as the collection might get affected due to the final World Cup match between India and Australia.
