'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' To Roll In March; Bhushan Kumar, Anees Bazmee, and Kartik Aaryan Gather For Discussion

The much-awaited third instalment of the cult franchise, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, is all set to go on floors in March 2024. Ahead of it, producer Bhushan Kumar, director Anees Bazmee, and the film’s lead actor Kartik Aaryan gathered for a key discussion regarding the horror-comedy. 

Nonetheless, the film promises to delve deeper into this mysterious world and offer the audience a mix of laughter, suspense, and entertainment, which is now synonymous with the franchise.

Sharing his excitement for the film, producer Bhushan Kumar said, "The 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' franchise holds a special place in our hearts, and I’m very happy to be taking it forward with a creative mind like Anees and an incredible talent like Kartik. Together, we are set to deliver a cinematic experience that will both honour the legacy of the franchise and bring double the laughter and thrill for the audience.”

Director Anees Bazmee too shared how he wants to make the franchise better, and added, "I am thrilled to take forward the world of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa.' In the previous instalment, Rooh Baba became the most loved character, and it’s going to be a fun and exciting challenge to make it even better for the audiences to enjoy. This film is my next immediate directorial and the focus is on crafting a gripping narrative that will resonate with audiences while staying true to the essence of the series."

Meanwhile, after Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa', Kartik Aaryan took over the reins of the film and starred in the sequel with Kiara Advani and Tabu in lead roles. Now, as the makers are all set with the third instalment of the film, there have been reports that makers have approached Vidya to be a part of the 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'

with Kartik as Tabu is no longer part of it. It is believed that she is keen to take up the role, and might come on board for the Anees Bazmee directorial. However, there has been no official confirmation about the same as yet. 

While the film is all set to go on floors, it is touted to release Diwali 2024, as the film would be wrapped up within four months from the start of production.
