On Wednesday, Disney+ Korea unveiled the much-awaited full-length trailer of the upcoming action-drama 'A Shop for Killers,' which stars Lee Dong-wook and Kim Hye-jun. Based on a novel 'The Killer’s Shopping List,' the trailer teases suspense, murder and action, as well as promises many dramatic full-of-action scenes.

The plot unravels around Ji-an's tragic life. Orphaned at a young age, she was left under the care of her uncle Jin-man, who is the proud owner of a shopping center. However, just when she enters adulthood, she learns of her uncle's demise and returns home. Despite being told that it was a case of suicide, she tries to dig deep. During the process, she comes across a shocking revelation: her uncle's real profession.

Now, the trailer begins by showing a quick glance of a shooting training session and Ji-an getting a text that involves billions of money. Simultaneously, there are people who are eyeing the shopping center that potentially sells weapons. Ji-an, who is in denial about her late uncle's profession, was wondering how she never knew about any of this. Meanwhile, text messages pop up, revealing that these weapons are being sold to commoners.

Trying to dig deep, she unravels more secrets, and even receives death threats. Though her uncle had warned her to never open doors for anyone if she's alone, she went against his wish and came across a new world full of dangerous and never-imagined weapons. This marks a new chapter in her life, wherein she will have to battle for survival. She will have to do whatever it takes to remain alive. The trailer shows her physically training herself then fighting against those very dangerous enemies.

She realises what her true purpose is amidst all this gunfire and violence and avenges her uncle's death. She becomes an alpha and will kill anyone who even dreams of taking Jin-man's place.

The trailer has shown beautiful action scenes. There's tonnes of heart-pounding intensity, and adrenaline-fueled sequences that keep you at the edge of your seat, leaving you intrigued. With jaw-dropping stunts and breathtaking visuals, anticipation is only increasing. With an equal amount of suspense and excitement, we don't know whether she will carry forward his legacy or try to live a peaceful life.

Helmed by Lee Kwon, the series also stars Park Ji-bin, Seo Hyun-woo, Jo Han-sun, Kim Jun-bae, Lee Tae-young, Min Kim. It is slated to release on Disney+ Hotstar on January 17 at 5 PM KST (1:30 PM IST), and will consist of 8 episodes.
