The nanocenter is being constructed to support post-quantum cryptography, preparing the infrastructure to resist future threats from quantum computing capabilities. The facility design includes strict segregation of sensitive workloads, ensuring government or sovereign data is isolated from commercial operations. Separate zones for development, testing, and demonstration further minimize risk of cross-system exposure.
