Brilliant comeback from Shelton and he has taken the second set away from Casper Ruud. Shelton shows authoritative control on his serve to hold throughout the second set. Finally the pressure got to Ruud on 4-5 and Shelton is finally able to break. Strikes at just the right time to seal the second set.

It's been a roller coaster so far, where one takes a lead and the other makes a comeback and restoring parity. Though Shelton has managed to take a 3-1 so far, how long he can sustain it is to be seen.

That's some excellent hitting from Shelton. He managed to hold to 15 and eventually wins the third set to extend his lead to 2-1. We are into the fourth set now and the American hold an edge over his Norwegian counterpart.

It's has been a cat and mouse game so far in this set but Ruud held his nerve to take a 3-2 lead. It's a bery important point in the match and it's vital for the Noregian star to widen his lead and win the set to stay in the game and he's a set behind.

Shelton wins the match 3-6 6-4 6-3 6-4! He is through to the quarterfinals with a superb cross-court forehand and bellow. In the quarter-final match, he'll be against Jannik Sinner and he's serves and volleys like that he did today, he could even topple the World No.2
