After failing to clear 105kg on her opening clean and jerk attempt, the Indian superstar bounced back in style, nailing the lift on her second try to seal the gold medal. She opted not to take her final attempt, finishing with a Games record total of 190kg (85kg snatch + 105kg clean and jerk).
