Both the teams have gathered on the ground for their respective national anthems. The match is about to get underway.
After the rain break and the a small ceremony, we finally have some live action at our hands. The match has started and both the teams would like to dominate the first half.

India are on a roll here against Switzerland. The Blue Colts have landed the 3 goal of the first quarter and Sharda Tiwari is the one this time who registers his name on the scoring list.

India head into the break with a commanding 4-goal lead, fully in control and cruising toward another comfortable three points tonight.
India keep pushing forward in the second half, but Switzerland have tightened up at the back. The hosts are still creating chances, yet the Swiss defense is holding firm for now.
India keep their perfect defensive record intact as the third quarter ends. A brilliant save from the goalkeeper preserves the clean sheet, and the hosts head into the final phase still leading 4-0.
The final 15 minutes are underway in Madurai, and India look determined to close this out in style. They’re pushing for more as they aim to secure all three points tonight.
India strike again! Sharda Tiwari nets her second of the night with another superb drag flick from a penalty corner, making it 5–0 with just five minutes left on the clock.
India cruise into the quarterfinals with a commanding 5–0 win over Switzerland. A dominant display from start to finish, and the hosts march on with their perfect record intact of winning 3 out 3 matches in the group stage.
India now join Belgium, France and Germany in the qualified teams for the quarterfinals. They will play against Belgium in the quarterfinal on December 5. The winning team will move to the semi-finals which will be played on December 7 with the final match scheduled to take place on December 10.
