There are some cloud over the circuit at Imola and the rain threat is there. The preparations may go in vain if it starts raining. The weather is cooler than it was yesterday.
Imola missed 2023 season of Formula 1 due to severe flooding. Max Verstappen has secured pole position in the last two events here, with last year's achievement notable for his record-tying eighth consecutive pole, matching Ayrton Senna's feat from 1988-1989.
Franco Colapinto was found guilty of exceeding the pit lane speed limit, resulting in a €600 fine for Alpine.
The cars have started coming towards the track. There is no sign of McLaren drivers and Max Verstappen yet, but most of the drivers are here. The crowd is cheering for them.
Yuki Tsunoda crashed his car in the wall. His RB21 was severely damaged after hitting the wall, causing a massive crash. The location is eerily familiar, as it's the same spot where Roland Ratzenberger tragically lost his life.

Franco Colapinto crashed at the exit of Tamburello, fortunately escaping unharmed. His Alpine is badly damaged and stuck in the gravel. He is safe!
