Following an emotional minute of applause, Jarrod Bowen gently places a No. 4 Bonds shirt before the home crowd, a touching tribute. With the atmosphere charged, the whistle goes and we’re underway at the London Stadium.
Alisson shrugs off the earlier knock and carries on. Potts bursts forward for West Ham and swings a cross toward Wilson, but Konaté reads it well and clears without fuss.
The home crowd erupts in frustration as Konate clatters into Diouf while chasing a loose Kerkez pass, but the referee waves play on despite what looked like a hand to the face. Moments later, Magassa flies into a heavy challenge on Gravenberch right on the edge of the box, both players sliding into the area with their momentum. Another risky one, but again the referee isn’t interested.
Bowen skips away and forces Van Dijk to retreat before Mac Allister steps in to tidy up. So far, both sides will feel encouraged, Liverpool look steadier defensively, while West Ham are keeping them comfortably contained.
After conceding a goal in the 36th minute, the Red Devils made a terrific comeback to win the game 2-1. Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount were the two stars for Manchester United who scored and helped the team win.
A real opening for Liverpool as Gomez curls in a dangerous ball. Mavropanos is caught out, but Areola reacts brilliantly, diving low to push it away. The rebound falls to Gakpo, prompting another surge, yet Areola springs off his line to punch clear again. Strong goalkeeping keeps it level.

Nottingham Forest 0-1 Brighton
West Ham 0-0 Liverpool
Second half begins at the London Stadium, with West Ham and Liverpool resuming locked at 0-0. Both sides will be hunting a breakthrough now.
Isak finally breaks his Premier League duck in Liverpool colours. A tidy move from the throw-in sees Wirtz feed Gakpo, who squares it perfectly across the six-yard area. Isak is waiting unmarked and calmly slots it into the far corner, leaving Areola no chance. A composed finish and a huge moment for the striker.
Guilherme drifts into space through midfield and slides the ball wide for Wilson, sparking a worrying moment for Liverpool. Konaté stretches to nick it away, and the Reds swarm back to shut down the danger. Moments later, Wilson makes way for Füllkrug as West Ham look for a different route to goal.
Liverpool wrap it up in stoppage time with a sharp, flowing move. Szoboszlai drives down the right and feeds Gomez, who cushions it perfectly into Gakpo’s path. The Dutch forward spins instinctively and lashes a half-volley past Areola to kill the contest. He wheels away, pointing to the badge, as Liverpool breathe a huge sigh of relief.
Liverpool leave London Stadium with a much-needed win after a composed second-half display. Alexander Isak’s first Premier League goal in red gave them the platform, punishing West Ham’s blunt attacking edge. Bowen squandered the hosts’ best opportunity to equalise, and their hopes took a further hit when Lucas Paquetá was sent off for persistent dissent in a moment of sheer frustration. With West Ham down to ten, Liverpool tightened their grip, and Gakpo’s crisp stoppage-time finish put the result beyond doubt. A professional away performance and three valuable points for the visitors.
