Uzbekistan Vs Colombia, FIFA World Cup 2026 Match Gallery: Colombia began their FIFA World Cup 2026 Group K campaign with a convincing 3-1 victory over Uzbekistan in an entertaining contest. After dominating possession for much of the opening half, Los Cafeteros broke the deadlock in the 41st minute when Luis Diaz produced a delightful pass for Daniel Muñoz, who timed his run perfectly and finished beyond the goalkeeper. Uzbekistan responded admirably after the break and made history on the hour mark as Abbosbek Fayzullaev scored the nation's first-ever World Cup goal, heading home after Shomurodov's effort struck the post. Colombia reacted immediately, with Diaz restoring the lead five minutes later through a powerful strike. The White Wolves pushed hard for another equalizer, but Campaz headed in Juan Hernandez's cross late on to seal the win and secure three valuable points.
