The 206th iteration of a historically significant fixture of English football gets underway at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Spurs, kicking from left to right, earn an early corner but nothing comes off it.

The football has been fairly sluggish so far, with neither side doing enough to impress in the first 10 minutes. That could change quite soon, however, as anyone following the sport knows.

Still no clear-cut chance for either side as the game continues to deliver less than promised. United and Spurs had locked horns in the Europa League final which was termed by many as a "snoozefest", and this game has played out similarly so far. Let's see if and when that changes.

The game finally springs to life! Bryan Mbeumo clinically directs his header into the Spurs net and United take the lead in the 32nd minute. It was the perfect cross from Amad Diallo and the in-form Mbeumo made no mistake.

Just the solitary minute of added time and the first half comes to an end with Bryan Mbeumo's 32nd-minute goal separating United and Spurs. There was not much to write home about on either side of the goal, and it remains to be seen whether the hosts can find a response in the second half.

My word! Spurs have come from nowhere to take the lead in stoppage time. Richarlison follows up Mathys Tel's equaliser by directing Wilson Odobert's ball into the United net. The home crowd is ecstatic, Richarlison takes his shirt off and Tottenham are on the verge of victory.

What a dramatic end to the game! After a lukewarm start, we had a riveting finish as there were three goals in the last 12 minutes. It seemed Richarlison had handed Spurs victory, but Matthijs De Ligt had other ideas. He found the header in at the stroke of the full-time whistle and we end with a wild 2-2 draw at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
