Slavia Prague and Arsenal have played each other twice, back in UEFA Champions League 2007-08 season. The first Group H fixture in London ended in a 7-0 win for Arsenal, with Theo Walcott netting a brace. The reverse fixture ended in a goalless draw.

Terrific atmosphere at the Fortuna Arena, with the lights show and the fans creating a superb feeling for the players to walk out of the tunnel to. The pre-match formalities are done, and the players take their position on the pitch. Referee Aliyar Aghayev blows his whistle, and Arsenal get tonight's match underway.

A very attacking start from both sides, with both Gabriel and Provod having attempts on goal that flew just wide of their respective posts. The Gunners, as expected, have had slightly more of the ball, but Slavia are looking comfortable in the opening five minutes of the match, using their physical advantage well.

Slavia have been really good so far, now having almost 60% of the ball as well as four shots, compared to just one from Arsenal. However, none of them have really put Raya under any kind of problem, except one wayward one from Chory. The hosts need to be clinical if they want to put one of Europe's most in-form side under pressure.

The first real chance for Arsenal, with Saka cutting inside and having a go at goal from outside the penalty area. Markovic does well to dive to his right and parry the danger behind for a corner. The Gunners are slowly regaining their foothold in the match.

Nwaneri becomes the first player to be booked for a professional foul on Sanyang. Arsenal continue their push forward, and Saka, despite being under pressure, has a shot on target that Markovic pushes for a corner. The resulting efforts lead to two more corners as pressure builds, but ultimately, Trossard's shot flies over the bar.

Out of nowhere, there's a potential penalty check against Slavia Prague for a handball in the box. VAR asks the referee to take a look at the pitch-side monitor. Agliyar Aghayev has just one look at the ball hitting Provod's arm, and awards a penalty.

Bukayo Saka steps up to take the penalty, and he fires it powerfully down the right corner. Markovic guessed correctly, but the power in the shot made it impossible to be saved. Arsenal finally take the lead, and Saka nets his 12th UCL goal in 21 appearances.

A bit of controversy as Chory goes down in the box under pressure from Gabriel, but the referee asks him to get up and get on with the game. The game is getting increasingly physical, as Merino gets booked for a tough tackle on the touchlines against Sanyang.

Mikel Merino delivers when called upon and the Spanish star scores 30 seconds into the start in the 2nd half, with the Trossard assist.

Gunners' defence has been so solid tonight that David Raya had just one save to make in Arsenal's three previous matches and he has so far not been called into action in this game.

Will Mikel Arteta sub off Declan Rice? Remember the Englishman is one booking away from missing the all-important Bayern Munich tie at home.

With little action taking place in the field, Mikel decides to turn to his bench as we seen the introduction of Eze. The Englishman will be soon coming on, and it's Nwaneri who goes off.

A yellow-card for Myles Lewis-Skelly as he gets a caution for a foul. Nothing major happening on either end of the goals. Both keepers not been fairly busy.

Gunners withdraw Declan Rice and is replaced by 17-year-old striker Andre Harriman-Annous.

Arsenal's clean-sheet stays intact as SLA's penalty is overturned via VAR intervention. Initially the ref had pointed to the spot with Ben White for a long boot but after seeing the replay, the ref waves it off.
