Warm greetings to all the football fans tuning in to the start of our live blog for the FIFA World Cup 2026 European Qualifiers Group B fixtures.

All four teams in the group have varying chances of finishing top of the group, but leaders Switzerland can pretty much ensure automatic qualification with a win today and if Kosovo lose their clash.

The Sweden vs Kosovo match will be shown live in India on the Sony LIV OTT platform, and television broadcasts will take place in the Sony TEN 3 and Sony TEN 3 HD channels. The Slovenia vs Switzerland match will also be shown on Sony LIV and Sony TEN channels.

The whistle goes in Gothenburg and Ljubljana, and the two Group B fixtures have started. The onus is on Sweden to keep their progression hopes alive, while Slovenia can hurt group-toppers Switzerland. Stay tuned!

The scores are still 0-0 in both matches in the opening 15 minutes. Isak had a half-decenet chance to put Sweden ahead with his headed effort, but Muric was alert and kept the danger out. Switzerland's match with Slovenia has been much more low-key, with neither side having a shot on target yet.

In a must-win match, Sweden go down just after the hour mark as Asllani finds the back of the net from point-blank range after being found by Hodza. It was good link-up play between Muriqi and Hodza, with the latter laying it off to Asllani to beat Johansson.

The second half is underway in both the matches. The onus is on Sweden to get an early equaliser if they want to keep their hopes of winning the group alive. Switzerland, meanwhile, need to convert their first-half dominance of the ball into clear-cut chances.

Sixty minutes of the matches are done, and the scorelines are yet to change. Slovenia have started the second half a bit more strongly, although Switzerland still have more of the ball.

In the Sweden vs Kosovo match, both sides had decent openings. Grokeres forced a stop from Muric, while Muriqi saw his effort go just wide of Johansson's right post.

Sesko had one of the best chances of the game, but the Manchester United striker blasted his shot from close range wide of the post. Respite for Kobel, but the group leaders need to create more opportunities. No shots on target for either side yet, though.

Meanwhile, Bardghji has been a nuisance for the Kosovar defence. After having his shot blocked off, he almost led to Lagerbielke scoring, but the resulting header was just wide of the post.
