Germany Vs Curacao, FIFA World Cup 2026: Kai Havertz's Double Headlines Die Mannschaft's 7-1 Victory
Germany began their FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign in emphatic fashion, defeating debutants Curaçao 7-1 in a dominant Group E encounter. Felix Nmecha gave Germany an early lead, but Livano Comenencia produced a historic moment by scoring Curaçao’s first-ever World Cup goal to level the match. The four-time champions quickly restored their advantage through Nico Schlotterbeck and Kai Havertz’s penalty before the break. Germany continued their attacking surge after half-time, with Jamal Musiala, Nathaniel Brown, Deniz Undav and Havertz adding further goals to complete a commanding victory. Curaçao’s fearless performance and passionate support made their debut memorable, but Julian Nagelsmann’s side proved too strong on the night
